Xbox One: lending games Xbox Games Store still relevant

Last year, to finish with the DRMgate, Microsoft had back machine by removing number of functionalities which imposed to the Xbox One be constantly connected. Among them was the opportunity to lend its digital games purchased from the Xbox Games Store to ten of our contacts, which we all hope the return.

It is therefore in a interview with our men GameSpot that Phil Spencer, patron of the Microsoft Studios, responded to a question dealing with precisely shared between members of the same family and the loan of games. Its response allows us to dream about the return of this coveted feature.

We now head taken by reflection and construction of the future of our digital market in order to bring what people expect. We hope that some of these things will delight them beyond their expectations.

I know that we will still have to beat us, but I think that many things that we say last summer were fair.

Now that Microsoft is committed to offer the game offline, Spencer says that the company believes always in a "digital future" for the Xbox One.

We know the games you own, who you are, how you move and who you would like to lend or offer games.

We totally believe in that future. And regardless of the marketplace you are using, these applications are already planned.

It is therefore undeniable that some applications that have been removed from the Xbox One will make their comeback in the months or years to come, but it will be at the sine qua not to let its console connected permanently. Need to make a choice, that Microsoft will leave to each owner of the machine.
