While 2014 is far from over, Phil Spencer seems already have their eyes on the horizon for the end of 2015. In fact, the gentleman already worried and already planning the next year risk to taste, to be too busy in comparison to this year's (which has seen the Xbox One propose three major exclusives with Forza Horizon 2, and Halo Sunset Overdrive: The Chief Master Collection). This is the microphone that Mr. Major Nelson explains this:
"Looking at our production schedule and how things are set up, the fall is just crazy. I mean, this fall is good in terms of internal productions and third-party publishers. Next fall, I honestly do not know what we can ship all the stuff we're trying to market this period. The period may simply be too crowded, and we may need to change the release dates of some projects to better spread the schedule "
Knowing that Halo 5: Guardians, Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider are planned for this period without forgetting the inevitable annual iteration of Forza and Scalebound, Crackdown, games publishers and others may be a few surprises (Rare Gears of War Collection?), it is clear that 2015 may be charged on Xbox One. I bet that Microsoft will have the good sense to spread the output across the year we do not have to wait for September for the second major of the year exclusivity as was the case this year.
And you, do you think 2015 will be a better year than 2014?
