Xbox Live Gold One Month Free trial memberships

If you already have an Xbox Live account and don’t have an active Xbox Live Gold membership, you may be able to sign up for an Xbox Live Gold One-Month Free trial membership. This membership is a one-month membership that will renew monthly after the first (free) month. These memberships are available only for customers who don’t currently have an active membership and have not previously had a trial membership. This kind of membership can’t be added to an existing membership. You must provide a valid payment method in order to purchase.
To see if you are eligible for a One Month Free trial

1. Sign in to the Subscriptions page.
2. If you are eligible for a free trail, you will see Gold – 1 Month FREE Trial as a subscription offering. Select Gold – 1 Month FREE Trial, then click Next.
3. If prompted, add a credit card to your account. If you already have a payment option on file, you can use that.
4. Follow the prompts to complete the signup process.

Important At the end of the first (free) month, membership automatically renews to a paid membership that renews monthly by default. The membership will renew to the payment method that was added to your account. If you don’t want the membership to renew, you must turn off automatic renewal.
To turn off automatic renewal for your trail membership

1. Sign in to the Xbox Live website by using your Microsoft account.
2. When you’ve signed in, click My Account.
3. Click Subscriptions.
4. Locate your trial membership subscription.
5. Click Cancel automatic payment.
6. Click Continue.
