Xbox One: what about PC drivers for the controller?

Albert Pennelo, Marketing Manager at Microsoft, attempts an explanation.

We are in mid-March 2014, and the Xbox One still does not work on PC. While drivers do exist (some games were shown on One PC at different salons and was fine question joysticks One), they have not yet been shared with the common man.

This delay led to the proliferation of rumors, including one that Microsoft released a version of the controller dedicated to the PC. Albert Pennello spoke on NeoGAF to scan this hypothesis backhand and thereafter, make a few clarifications.

Here's a quick summary:

2014 will always be the year of release drivers, without elaborating. Operate the joystick wired is the priority, although Microsoft is investigating a way to operate in wireless mode also. According to various comments of Mr. Pennelo, it appears that "setback" is the cause of the delay. However, it understands the frustration of the players and says that Microsoft "work hard" to provide the drivers.

After these promises, the wait can restart.
