DirectX 12 available on Xbox One


During the Game Developers Conference, Microsoft introduced DirectX 12, the latest version of his favorite graphics API. Among its characteristic, a resource control lowest level as we have seen with Mantle from AMD.
To demonstrate the flexibility of DirectX 12, Forza Motorsport 5 was featured on PC and it took a month and 4 people to bring the game to DirectX 11 DirectX 12 PC. However, no announcement has been made on such a version of the game Anju Gosalia, development manager of the graphics in Microsoft confirmed that DirectX 12 compatible with 100% of Xbox One.
The final version of DirectX 12 will come by against the late 2015 year, but developers can already access a beta, so we must be patient before seeing the first games actually use the technology, which allows for example to gain resource CPU.
