The video game of the morning announcement, was incontestably the repurchase of Double Helix by giant Amazon. One, because it's a studio that developed games for Microsoft, and two, because it shows how Amazon is interested in the sector. Already last year, we were talking about a console Amazon.
That we can rest assured however, licence Killer Instinct is not dead. If Amazon reassured by saying that Double Helix would continue his work on the games which he deals, Microsoft said Polygon that a new partner would be announced shortly.
The licence for the fighting game stays on the side of Microsoft Studios.
