Following the Thanksgiving meal, this is the belly and the heart full that our American friends kicked last Friday (November 29) to their favorite brands. Indeed, the Thanksgiving Feast followed, on North America, famous Black Friday.
Day of substantial balances therefore, marking the beginning of the period of the year-end shopping, Black Friday is an important factor that Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo should not be disregarded.
Thus, through figures made by two large U.S. retailers, Target and Walmart, we discover most past consoles during this event:
- Xbox One: 31% of sales console
- Console Xbox 360: 30% of sales
- Console PlayStation 3:15 % of sales
- PS4: 15% of sales console
- Wii U: 6% of console sales
- Wii: 1% of sales console
Although we do have the percentage done on these sales and through two of the biggest signs of the genre, the trends of the appear very clearly and put the Xbox One and Microsoft (with a Xbox 360 still on top) in mind.
Infofinder says that the success of the Xbox One would be largely due to the more that small number of available PS4, but also to the significant decrease in price of the Xbox 360 posted at $ 99. The PS4 so merely matching its predecessor the PlayStation 3.
If according to our source appear likely, however it seems strange that Sony have not privileged American market on this occasion, thus delivering a stockpile of insufficient consoles largely below the request.
As for Nintendo consoles, if it fails the Nintendo 3DS and its variations which our source does not disclose sales, it appears that Wii such as Wii U have managed to touch that a public limited despite the output the previous week of the most excellent Super Mario 3D World on Wii U...
