Xbox One: an update will improve the interface, groups

Demonstrated you in long, wide and cross. The interface of the Xbox One, that you can indeed find here video of impressions, seems to cause some worries ergonomics to number of players. Only undaunted: the Redmond company seems determined to address this "problem", namely the problems related to the creation of groups.

In truth, problem really seems to be the interface for accessing the social functions of the console, deemed "much less convenient than on Xbox 360", according to many comments reached the ears of Marc Whitten, product manager Xbox.

He also explained to our colleagues from Engadget:

Returns we have had are quite understandable. Some social functions are hidden or more complicated to use than on Xbox 360. It is therefore obvious that we will release an update that will repair many things. Having been very involved in the design of the Xbox Live during the last decade, I take very seriously the users who say that it is more difficult to access a discussion (Party function). These defects are painful and I do not like it.

A total redesign of the Dashboard so? Not necessarily, the idea being rather easier access to these essential functions. We think of the creation and management of groups, very easy on 360 and much more problematic today. Marc Whitten continues merrily:

So what I try to do with the team, it's bringing things up for discussion. Do an update and offer a great list of what we heard on the part of consumers, the points which we believe is perfectible in architecture, the areas we want to improve or supplement. I think it's a theme you'll see we put forward, that's the Live experience.

We therefore expect a readjustment of the Dashboard of the Xbox One... by next spring? Or earlier, since Microsoft seems visibly eager to reassure the players...
