THE BIG DAY IS HERE. At  5p GMT/12n ET/9a PT , Microsoft will kick off its 'Windows 10: The Next Chapter' event, a subtle hint that it will unveil the next version of Windows.

There will also be highlights on Twitter from Major Nelson (@majornelson) as well as the hashtag #Windows10, but good luck to any brave souls who attempt to get useful information from the Twitter hordes.
