Minecraft creator sets record with highest price paid for a mansion in Beverly Hills.

‘Minecraft’ creator Markus “Notch” Persson has just closed on a $70 million home on tony Hillcrest Drive in Beverly Hills.

 According to Polygon, the Minecraft creator beat out Beyonce and Jay-Z for the property, which has since been announced by residential brokerage John Aaroe Group as the highest price ever paid for a home in Beverly Hills.
