BBC iPlayer has finally launched on Xbox One.

We've been waiting for this one for ages. Sure, Netflix has all the gritty political dramas you could ever want, but what if your idea of fun is watching Paxman snort derisively at sobbing geniuses on University Challenge?

The 46mb app can be downloaded from the Xbox One App Store and allows you to view on-demand BBC programming. If you can't find it on the store, search for 'iPlayer' and go from there.
BBC iPlayer has been available on PS4 since its launch last November, but despite Microsoft's push for the console to be an all-in-one entertainment device (and having been previously available on Xbox 360), it's taken over a year for it to appear on Xbox One.
Anyway, if you're into technical details, then BOY have we got the blog post for you, detailing how and why the app was made. It's almost as good as binge-watching QI.
