As we know, Microsoft does everything to put in the pocket Japanese players. With an Xbox 360 who, despite a poor record, managed to make a name in the Japanese market, the Xbox One seems worse off. And the Redmond company wants to fix it.
While Microsoft has expressed dissatisfaction with the Japanese launch of the Xbox One exit precisely on September 4 there, the firm today is scrambling to try to (re) conquer the Japanese public. Rather something very complicated for a "western" machine.
If the first Xbox name was a disaster in terms of sales figures, but first take the temperature of the country, the Xbox 360 was in turn succeeded more or less to a small breakthrough at the Rising Sun Country. Unfortunately for Microsoft, the Xbox One does not follow the upward curve since its release, it is true, since only a little more than two months.
That's why she tries to remedy this by "coaxing" the Japanese players with one of their favorite pastime: karaoke. Thus the title Karaoke @ Dam, announced in July, but not out in time with the console, arrived in the shelves of Japan today.
The title was created in collaboration with the famous Karaoke Club Dam, and is obviously playable via Kinect, and even controllable via SMARTGLASS no fewer than 100,000 songs are available.
Obviously, all this has a cost. Because if the application is free, it will still pay 300 yen (about 2 euros) for a 24-hour session, or 1000 yen for 30 days (about 7 euros). A dedicated microphone is also available (2000 yen or 15 euros) if you really want to take a Japanese mega star.
Remains to be seen if the players (and players) Japanese adhere to this title and thus the Xbox One.
